Videos from 14-16 months

Some videos:

He loves having a lot of real estate to roam free...

When he plays with his matchbox cars, sometimes, he likes to organize them and put them in this little bag. He must have been watching how I carry a diaper bag/purse, because he is so focused on how to get the bag over his arm.

Just playing a game with a lid. No big deal.
In his own world of jibber-jabber.
Eating lunch one day and he was falling asleep. As parents, we all wait for this moment. And when it comes, you hope you have your video camera ready. I did. :)

Grandpa's method of teaching CATCH worked.

So backstory: my friend gives us handmedowns from her twins... and I love going through them and I often hold up each piece and try to get Weston excited about them by saying things like, "look! a bear!"..."aren't these colors cool?" and so forth. Well during one such incident, Weston interrupted my show-and-tell with the following. As it turns out, h e was mocking me. Well, probably mimicking me. But it was too funny.

He finds baths during which he gets laid back in the water pretty darn awesome.

Just some random antics.

This is what he looks like when he defies me. Cute, but so in trouble.

Neil was pretending that Weston's socks smell. That of course is hilarious, right?

He's a brave boy who likes to feed goats.
He witnessed Kramer jumping over the baby gate, so he was inspired to jump.

An example of how he tries to read like we do... this book has a specific rhythm.

One of my favorite memories ever... he brought me MY boots. Size 10. And wanted me to put them on. Him. And I kept laughing.
This just was last week. Daycare sent me a video because she said she found it so unique and funny. He was eating a graham cracker, but wasn't really eating it. So Megan asked if she could have it. He had a little trick up his sleeve to ensure she didn't get any.
Just so goofy.
I will sum it all up by saying...my kid has tons of personality. From being so affectionate (he now knows how to come to me when he gets hurt and proffers his injured body part for a kiss!!!) to having such a great sense of humor when other kids might cry (like playing keep away from him or delaying something he wants to be silly with it first...) to just saying HI or BYE in the cutest ways. GAH! He is so disarming. So adorable. So completely and utterly mine. Well, ours. If you're talking about Neil. ha
